The Story
The namesake wine of the famed Spanish sailor, Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, who explored the West coast of the United States in the 16th Century.
A rare gem for this price-point. A softer Cabernet hailing from the epicenter of Big Bordeaux-style wines, Cabrillo is a great opportunity to ease into Napa Valley Cabernets and explore the palate from this coveted wine region.
As this is a young Cabernet, we recommend decanting this wine, aerating, or at a minimum, leaving the bottle open for a few hours. Pair with BBQ, red meat, or a thick red sauce.
